Love the music, but not the show
Maria was constantly the center of attention, barely moving from the center pedestal while everyone else danced around her. The entire show was built around her.
Every song concluded with everyone vacating the stage, the lights go down, and 2-3 minutes later they come back with new costumes and set pieces. After about 6 times of this happening, it began to get really distracting.
Since this was a common theme in ALL of the songs, it made the whole performance seem a bit pretentious. In short, the entire show was built around Maria.
We went in super psyched, left a little let down. My fiancee and I are big fans of Sons of Legion. She has loved them since Beautiful Tragedy and has always wanted to see them live.
On a plus, Maria sounded great (though the music drowned her out for the first two songs).
I actually found myself watching the back up dancers more than her because, honestly, they were more interesting.
All Hail the Yeti was ok and Devour the Day was amazing (maybe better than Sons of Legion).
Another thing we were displeased with was the constant costume and set changes.
